Qibl-rëvî Fêqê (/ˈvëki/ /ˈrëvɪ/ [hedge] [soap]) is a temperate Town located in the Bëmtlaci Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Qibl-rëvî Fêqê is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Qibl-rëvî Fêqê was founded by Maerdes Shesmê, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Qibl-rëvî Fêqê has a yearly average temperature of 21°C (69°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 33°C (91°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cold 10°C (50°F). Qibl-rëvî Fêqê receives an average of 281 cm/y (110 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Overview

Qibl-rëvî Fêqê was founded durring the early 11th century, by Maerdes Shesmê. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Maerdes Shesmê.

Qibl-rëvî Fêqê was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Qibl-rëvî Fêqê is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Qibl-rëvî Fêqê is buildings are built arround a single broad flagstone mainstreet which forms a counterclockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town lacks any defencive features, though certainly constructing even a simple fence or digging a ditch is at the forefront of the 's mind. At least, one would hope so.

A look around Qibl-rëvî Fêqê has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scuttling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s all of those things together, or perhaps it's the way these elements combine with the simple fact that it is abundantly clear Qibl-rëvî Fêqê suffered something horrible some time ago. It's as if the town itself is depressed. Smiles are few, cheer is nowhere to be had. Everyone quietly goes about their daily business not looking anyone in the eye. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Qibl-rëvî Fêqê long.

Cultural Notes

There’s a relatively new religion in Qibl-rëvî Fêqê which is rapidly gaining power. It might be a sectarian offshoot of a major faith, the unique product of a new prophet, or an outside faith backed by wealthy and powerful foreign supporters. Depending on the demands made on believers, the new faith may be a matter of concern only to the existing clergy, or it might be a major flashpoint for conflict in the community.

Qibl-rëvî Fêqê's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by vertical proportions, pointed arches, external buttressing, and asymmetry in the general shape of its buildings. The decorative features of the style were key, consisting of large arched windows, pointed arches, vaulted ceilings, flying buttresses, and sculptures integrated into the structure itself.
